Joanne
M. Larman, Designer
With a passion for color, creativity and unique
design, Joanne brings over 20 years of design
experience to her full service Interior Design
business.
Prior to working from her design studio in Falmouth,
Joanne owned her own home furnishings store and
design studio, JML Casual Home in Falmouth. Before
that, Joanne developed high quality home furnishings
textiles, rugs, furniture and accessories sold
internationally through the LL Bean and Cuddledown
of Maine catalogs, GH Bass and worked in the fashion
apparel industry.
Years of international travel to trade shows
and working in factories in the US and Europe
bring a solid background to Joanne’s understanding
of quality home furnishings products and unique
design. Her extensive background in the field
of color, textile, furniture and rug design for the home furnishings catalog industry and national retail stores brings an expertise to her business that supports her natural artistic talent.
An active community leader, Joanne is currently serving on the design committee or the first Leed certified Habitat for Humanity house to be built in Maine, the design committee for a new assisted living facility at Cedars in Portland, and is a volunteer facilitator for the Center for Grieving Children.
